Day 1: Arriving in Ooty – Let the Adventure Begin!

• Morning: Arrive in Ooty and check into your hotel. Take some time to acclimate to the cool mountain air.
  
• Afternoon: Visit the magnificent Government Botanical Gardens – one of India’s finest! Spread across 55 acres, you’ll be amazed by its terraced layout featuring over 650 species of plants and trees. Don’t miss the exotic fern house, the stunning Italian Garden with its manicured flowerbeds, and the glass house filled with rare tropical plants. The gardens are a photographer’s paradise!
  
• Evening: Explore the famous Commercial Road for some local shopping and dinner. Try some Nilgiri chocolates – they’re incredible!

Day 2: Coonoor – Tea and Trains

• Morning: Take the historic Nilgiri Mountain Railway to Coonoor (trust me, this toy train ride will be unforgettable!)
  
• Afternoon: Visit Sim’s Park and a tea factory. You’ll get to see how your favorite beverage is made and even taste some fresh tea.
  
• Evening: Sunset at Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint – the views of the Catherine Falls are spectacular!
  
• Return to Ooty for overnight stay

Day 3: Pykara – Nature’s Paradise

• Morning: Head to Pykara Lake (about an hour’s drive from Ooty)
  
• Afternoon: Enjoy boating on the serene Pykara Lake and visit the Pykara Falls
  
• Evening: Visit a Toda tribal village to learn about the local culture
• Return to Ooty, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant

Day 4: Ooty Wrap-up

• Morning: Visit the charming Rose Garden (it has over 2,000 varieties!)
  
• Afternoon: Take a boat ride on Ooty Lake
  
• Evening: Departure with wonderful memories
